There are lots of compelling reasons to start a blog. Tons. And I mean besides the fact that everyone else is doing it. There are so many great reasons, I can't even begin to type them all out, so I'm not even going to try.
I will, however, try to keep a blog. Or as some of us 'insiders' like to call them, 'one of them diaries you keep what other folks can read on that there new Interweb machine'.
If you're actually reading this, and you aren't me, congratulations! You're probably the first! Or maybe second, depending on whether or not my mother has a) gotten the link to it and b) clicked on said link. Nevertheless, over the coming weeks and months, I'm sure that we will grow to be steadfast friends. If you come back. And I hope you will. Because uhhh ... I have candy.
